From the visual form of verbal language, borrowed from the simple configuration of the letter "u" - Swedish designers translate the play of three-dimensional extrusion, starting from the silent language of the human body. Mainly designed for public spaces, offices or hotels, Pisa is an upholstered armchair with compact dimensions, suitable for small spaces but without excluding aesthetics and comfort. Its minimal shapes embrace the body, creating a feeling of intimacy. Its geometric shape, with its backrest inclined and its cut profile, creates a strong personality despite sober measurements.
Award: German Design Award 2016 Internal structure: cold foam with metal insert, with seat made of 18 mm thick birch plywood.
Seat and backrest in polyurethane foam. Base: aluminium feet or 8 mm thick black embossed metal swivel plate. Also available in swivel version.
