Monica Forster

Monica Förster, creator of some of the most internationally renowned Swedish design objects today, lives in Stockholm but grew up close to the Arctic Circle in Sweden's far north.

Her work is characterized by a strong sense of pure forms combined with a permanent curiosity for new materials and technology. She always tries to work in an interdisciplinary way, inventing and renewing types of design for industry, furniture and objects.
